Cahaba or Shoals Spider Lily in Full Summer Bloom
After a dry spell, rain finally arrived, encouraging the blooming of an unknown bulb, identified as the Cahaba Lily, native to Alabama. The bulb, an Amaryllis variety, was brought from Texas, planted earlier this year, and is thriving in the garden under the right conditions for photography.
