That’s about it.

How do we separate our person lives from our work life today? Well not very well in some situations. With Twitter, Facebook, Blogging, and all the other aspects of living out our life in the public eye today, more and more people take words out of context, or misuse an opinion stated in a personal capacity for that of an organization as a whole. If I was the CEO of a publicly traded company that would be one thing, but I’m not.

I want to make it very abundantly clear that the opinions and statements made on this blog are my own. I do not speak for any organization here, nor does this blog or the posts that appear here reflect any specific opinion from other staff members or the organizations as a whole. We all have our own direction and convictions, and those can be expressed in many different and conflicting ways. The ideas expressed here on this site, and any social networking site that bears my username “scottfillmer” are my own.

I invest my time in specific organizations because I believe in their overall vision. This does not mean that at some point or on some level I don’t disagree with these organizations, or the other way around. This page is to make it as clear as possible that my opinions are not intended in any way to reflect upon those organizations I am involved with on a formal or informal basis.

If you have any questions about specific statements made here you are always welcome to email me, I would be more than happy to discuss anything you find on my site.

In this post-911-post-covid world things can feel quite overwhelming at times. I recognize most people are doing the best they can, and we don’t all have to agree on everything all the time, and I’m ok with that. I respect everyone equally to the very best of my abilities no matter who they are or what they say. I hope you will afford me the same respect as I do you.
