Welcome to my little slice of the Internet. I’m truly honored you stopped by. I am a freelance Photographer based out of Auburn, Alabama. I work professionally as a Content Manager, creating everything from writing online content, photography, videography, to managing social media accounts. If you are interested in my freelance work as a photographer or writer, please contact me to start the conversation. If you are new to my site, start here.

My Website

On this site I mainly focus on photography, but I do write around topics on faith, life, photography, technology, sailing, sports, gardening, or whatever is happening in life at that time. My blog is here, and my photography portfolios are here which are being currently updated throughout 2023.

About Me

I have lived all over the country, with most of my roots in Alabama, and I call the Auburn/Opelika area home. Over the years I’ve loved my time living in California, Texas, Florida, New York, and various other places, but Auburn will always be home to me. I’ve had the privilege of traveling all over the world from Australia to Uganda and everywhere in between. This has given me a unique perspective on different cultures and ways of life I could never understand without having gone there, and it’s impacted my life and thinking tremendously.

My passions in life that surrounds me daily, that push me forward is, my love for the Lord , my family, and then my personal connection with photography and all the nuances contained in that art form.

To me, photography is the simultaneous recognition, in a fraction of a second, of the significance of an event.

~Henri Cartier-Bresson

Personal Statement

In this post-911-post-covid world things can feel quite overwhelming at times. I recognize most people are doing the best they can, and we don’t all have to agree on everything all the time, and I’m ok with that. I respect everyone equally to the very best of my abilities no matter who they are or what they say. I hope you will afford me the same respect as I do you.

I look forward to connecting with you. If you have a blog or website I would love to take a look at it, please leave a comment below with your website address so we can all check it out!

    Hi Scott,

Thanks for liking my post about Rob Bell over at my blog. I hope you’ll keep reading the series. I like the look of your blog (clean and colorful- via your photos). Like you, I’m also a seminary student (part-time). I have strong interests in music and writing and want to do more with this. I also like to take advantage of all the cool things techies like yourself come up.

Best wishes to you on all your endeavors, and blessings in Christ,

I came across your blog looking up pictures of Jordan Hare and am so impressed with your photography. I am looking for some Auburn photos (converted to black and white) that I could turn into posters for my son’s room. I am wondering if I could purchase a few of your photos to do this. Please email me below. Really, really impressive work you have!!

Lisa, sorry, just saw your comment, send me an email over to and I will give you some suggestions. I have a black and white of Jordan-Hare after a game in poster size on my own wall, one of my favorite shots 🙂
