Years after planting a fig tree, it now provides numerous figs daily, prompting their use in making strawberry-fig jam, a blend that offsets the natural sweetness of straight fig jam. Despite some drawbacks like leaf mess and fig drops, the harvest brings joy and a year’s supply of jam.
