Bronner Burgess Drowns in Pool Family Gives Testimony

bronner burgess 2007An incredible story today from the popular Rick & Bubba Show where Rick’s two year old son died (drowned) in their swimming pool.

The Burgess family is showing an incredible spiritual testimony with this tragedy but something made a two year old boy leave the room where all the other kids were watching a movie, unlock the door to go outside, and jump in the pool.

Just an incredible story of tragedy and of one families love for their Savior, Jesus Christ.

On January 19, 2008, William Bronner (Cornbread) Burgess, the two-year-old son of Rick Burgess drowned, according to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office. The Burgess family has continued to give God all the glory for the life of their son. As stated on their website for Bronner:

The Burgess family want to give all Honor and Glory to GOD for the many blessings He has given us, especially the life of Bronner Burgess. And while we do not understand, we know who is in charge and His will be done in life and in death.

Bronner’s father, Rick Burgess, gave an incredible testimony about and for his son, part of which I have posted below. There are three parts to this so if you want to see the other parts, just click part 1, part 2, and part 3.

I share with many others in prayer for the Burgess family today.
