This is truly God’s country! This sunset came on slowly but with some patience it just lit up the entire mountain and turned it a fiery orange. I had driven around some of these national forest roads for a while before coming to this spot where the tree made layers in the scene. I love how you can see several distinct layers in the foreground, middle, and off into the distance. The sun turning the mountain into an orange fiery glow was just a bonus this night.
