Cold Sunday Photo Walkabout

Bee Hives on the Lake

Baseball has started (at least the NCAA version), so it’s supposed to be getting warmer here in the south. This is the time of year when we get some beautiful mid 70ยฐ days and freezing 32ยฐ nights and we have almost completely forgotten what it feels like for it to be “hot and humid!”

The weather has been so cloudy and gloomy, making it a good time to just walk around and see what there was nearby worthy of having its picture taken. It wasn’t much on this day, but every time I make the effort to get out and shoot, I come back with more than I would had I never gone. It was a short cold photowalk, but still enjoyable. I found this semi-hidden dirt road that ran out into the woods and came home with these shots, the bee hives are probably my favorite, but I do love the dump truck, such cool rusty colors.
