Last night Deb and I went to the Auburn vs Alabama State men’s basketball game, which always turns out to be a great game.ย Deb took her knitting to see if she could get Aubie to pose with her and her knitting and Aubie was more than happy to do that and then some.ย It was great fun and Auburn did pull out a win in the last few minutes of the game.ย At the last game Aubie was wearing this same Aubie Santa costume and Deborah wanted to get him holding her knitting so she could post it on her blog.รย Suddenly she found herself being acousted by Aubie but I was there to get the photo evidence and proof.
Aubie is always a lot of fun and one of the very best mascots in NCAA college anywhere.

@jeff thanks, I was using the Nikon 70-200 f/2.8 lens with my Nikon D700 camera body… we usually don’t have a big crowd so getting down close to the action is not to hard
I’ve shot basketball before with a 24-70 on my cropped sensor Canon, but I was down on the floor. It looks like you got some great shots with your 70-200.
