Welcome to my yearly collection of images. Every year I try to put together a recap of my favorite images over the course of the year. This is mainly a way to take an objective view of my photography, and to remind myself of the broader range of photography and creativity that goes into shooting throughout the year.
For each year below I try to select 24 images to represent the year, around 2 images per month. This doesn’t always work, and it isn’t always 24 images, but that is the baseline I am looking for each year. I also have a gear breakdown year by year if you are the gear-type.
If you have never done a yearly recap of your images it is an exercise that takes some patience, but also resolve to do it. I came across several years that I just didn’t want to revisit. Some I loved, some I just never wanted to see again, like the Covid years, those weren’t great photographically, at least for me.
