My Portfolio on this site is arranged in Projects and Portfolios. Projects have an ongoing curated image selection, such as this project here, and my Portfolios are arranged in a gallery of images specific to the subject. My projects correspond to my around my blog categories of photography, technology, faith, life, and the uncategorized, but the portfolios are image based.
The Portfolio Project
This particular project is to highlight part of my work as a photographer. Over the years my focus as a photographer has changed many times. As of this update in 2022, my focus as a photographer right now is to document life in the south, mainly in the Auburn/Opelika area. I’m also concentrating on learning the intricacies of black and white photography in the digital age, and while I’ll never master it, I’ve learned a lot over the last several years.
If I’ve learned anything over the years, photography and life collide continually, and therefore my photography has changed over time. I spent a lot of time shooting nature, then aviation, then sports, and so on. Now I’m focus on life in general, wherever that takes me and my camera.
The Project Purpose

The purpose of this project is to highlight a wide variety of my work over the past 20 plus years. This is an ongoing portfolio edit. If you would like to get to know me beyond my portfolio head over to my about page. It’s been almost impossible for me to put a proper edit here of 25 plus years of shooting, but this is my attempt. I have taken more than 500,000 images at this point, and the range of genres I’ve loved and studied is far larger than what is represented here.
The Project Details
Below is an ongoing edit of some of around 35 images. I will be continually adding and subtracting from this list as I pair down my best images for this portfolio.
