Friday Feet is a weekly photo series on my blog that captures where our feet have taken us by the end of the week. On Friday (or some Fridays), I share a photograph that features feet or shoes in a specific location—serving as a visual record of the places we’ve been, whether far from home or right in our backyard.
The series started with a simple idea back in 2008: take the classic “foot shot” that was popular on blogs and photo-sharing sites at the time, and give it a consistent home on Fridays. The very first post described it as a way to highlight how we’re all in different places every week, and how something as ordinary as your feet can tell part of that story.
Over the years, Friday Feet has become a personal tradition—a casual but creative way to mark time, place, and movement. Some photos are spontaneous travel moments, others are quiet reflections of everyday life. All of them remind me that photography doesn’t have to be complicated to be meaningful.
You can explore past entries by visiting the Friday Feet Tag, or I have the most recent 15 posts listed below. If you write a Friday Feet post on your blog, tag one of my posts and I will be sure to check it out.
