I am a freelance photographer in the Auburn Alabama area with over 30 years of photography experience. I create custom photography services designed to provide you with exactly what you need.

I can help if you have a boat, sailboat, PWC, or houseboat for sale, need survey photos, proof of insurance, or some great marketing images for your website.

Sometimes you just need some photography for documentation purposes, like property for sale, foreclosures, or to just get a feel for an undeveloped piece of real estate.

The Easy Booking Process

I try to make the process of working with me and receiving your images simple. It’s these three steps:

1. CONNECT: Contact me to setup an appointment or ask any question.
2. PHOTOS: I do the photo shoot (you don’t even have to be there).
3. DOWNLOAD: You receive a link to download the final edit.

It’s that simple. I will let you know what my schedule looks like, what the price for your job or project will be, I’ll go shoot it, and give you a download for the images you requested.

How Much Does it Cost?

Customized photos are just that, custom, and I will probably have to get back to you with an estimate. In general I have a base rate and travel expenses (if travel is outside the Auburn/Opelika area). Book a shoot here. Some pricing examples are:

• Boats / Sailboats / Houseboats / RV’s: My base rate for individuals starts at $30/foot ($500 minimum) and includes complete coverage of the vessel with as many final images or angles as you desire. High resolution 48mp files at 8,000 pixels wide/tall.
• Vacation Photos / Personal Experience: For a photo shoot out on the water or with your boat just contact me for an exact cost. It may be less than you think. My minimum for a photo shoot is $500.
• Vacation Rentals: More traditional house or cabin rentals can vary depending on what you need, but my base rate is $0.25/Square Foot ($500 minimum). This includes high resolution wide-angle images of every area needed.
• Online Product Photography: is $50-100 per product sku (depending on complexity) excluding shipping. Includes as many angles or versions as you like with white, black, or specific color background.
• Other Requests: all of my photography work is custom designed for each client, if you have a specific photographic need I’m sure I can accommodate it, just contact me to ask. Most shoots have I charge a $500 minimum, but each situation is different.

FAQ

• Do you travel? Yes. I cover areas such as Lake Martin, Lake Harding to Atlanta to the Gulf Coast and the Florida Panhandle. My travel expenses (100 miles outside the Auburn/Opelika area) are $0.99/mile. I’m flexible and can work to meet your needs.
• How much do the photos cost? If you are looking for something other than a boat, RV, or online product please contact me to discuss the options.
• What forms of payment do you take? I’m flexible to whatever you want. I do take credit cards but would prefer options that aren’t as expensive for me to receive.
• How long does it take? I can usually turn around a project fairly quickly depending on my current schedule. I can usually schedule and shoot something within the same week. Once the images are created the edit process can be done usually within a few days.
• How will I receive my photos? I will upload the final images directly to a dropbox or google drive location for you and send you the link.
• Can you email me the final images? Probably not, they are usually too large to deliver over email.
• Do you shoot video? Yes, I can do video as well. If you are selling a boat, sailboat, or RV, and need video clips you can add on a video to your custom photo order for an additional charge. Video needs vary extensively so we can discuss your particular needs.
• Can I get drone footage of my vessel? Yes, I can do this as well if we schedule it in advance. I charge $500 for drone flights.
• How many photos do I get? My boat / sailboat photography shoots are not based on number of images but a complete coverage of the vessel or vehicle. I will include as many images as you would like to use.
• Can I use the original photos for anything I want? Yes, to a certain extent. The only copyright restriction on them would be to resell the images. You can use them for personal use however you like.
• What is your experience as a photographer? I’ve been shooting since 1993 and have covered everything from live event photography, concerts, sports, portrait, senior photos, weddings, studio, product and vessel / vehicle photography. I use the latest professional equipment with the latest editing software from Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
• Do you specialize in photography for boats, sailboats, and rv’s? My wife and I have owned several sailboats and RV’s, including a bus conversion we did ourselves. Boats and RV’s have been a passion of both of ours for a long time, so yes it is one of my specialties.
• Do you do weddings? This is one area I do not do anymore. I have done several wedding in the past but I have chosen to focus on other areas.
• Can you upload the photos directly to my boat trader or for sale site? Yes, I can upload photos directly to your listing if you like, I charge $50/hour to do this type of work.
• Is the “Boat For Sale Photos” site you? For marketing purposes I maintain a few domains to make it easier to find my services for photos to sell your boat or sailboat such as Boat-Photos.com, Sailboat-Photos.com, boat.photography, sailboat.photography, BoatForSalePhotos.com, SailboatForSalePhotos.com, RV For Sale Photos, and Motorhome For Sale Photos, and a few others. • Where local areas do you cover? I will travel but the most nearby areas are Auburn, Opelika, Phenix City, Lake Martin, Lake Harding, Alexander City, Dadeville, Alabama, and then over to Columbus, Atlanta, Gainsville, Athens, Georgia, down to the Gulf Coast like Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, and the Panhandle of Florida.
• What if I want something I don’t see listed? Just contact me and we can start a conversation about what you need. I am very flexible.
