My Passion for Art in Photography

Art: the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual or written form such as painting, sculpture, or manuscript, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power. This can mean many different things to many different people. As such, my art has changed and developed over the years, and I have continually tried to learn more each day. What is your art, my art… it is life, as we live it.

More specifically, my art is my photography (see also photography on Flickr and Instagr.am) and anything else that creates value to those who receive my work. More recently I have tried to study more about the complicated art of poetry and all its meter and pros. Writing is a difficult labor to me but I love it’s final output and think in some respects this makes me a better photographer. In the past I have shot everything from aviation to sports, to weddings and concerts or conferences. My passion in photography tends to fall in line with my faith. I love being able to use my photography for the purposes of faith, whether that is sharing someone’s story from another country or worship in a modern contemporary setting. I have been a photographer for almost 20 years now and there is nothing more satisfying in life than being able to create and produce something that never existed before. Update January 2012

At the moment I am not taking on any additional photography projects that aren’t already planned or have the ability to plan very far in advance. The reason is just a time factor between shooting, seminary, and work. I would be more than happy to speak with you at any time about your specific shooting needs, but my schedule is extremely tight for the foreseeable 2012-2013 season.

What I am happy to do is license my current images for your personal or public use. If you would like to use any of my copyrighted images for any reason, please contact me so we can discuss your needs. I can usually provide people or organizations with high resolution images, original files, or my own work processed and ready for use.
